PARADISE FOUND // INTERVIEW WITH ADRI LAW

A ROAD OF ONE’S OWN

Photography, motorcycles, vintage cars, and a knack for bringing people together: Adri Law has built a life and a career around the things she loves. The founder of Paradise Road Show, Adri has spent years growing her vision into a multi-city gathering for classic car and motorcycle enthusiasts. Now entering an exciting new chapter in Palm Springs, she’s continuing to evolve the show while staying true to its roots.

We caught up with Adri for a look at her riding journey, the story behind Paradise, and the friendships that inspire her along the way.

ORIGIN STORY

“My name is Adri Law, and I was born and raised in Los Angeles. My background is in photography,  but putting on my events is my full-time gig now! I've been riding for 11 years and I have a 99 Sportster and a 1965 Ranchero.

I saw my friend Brittany Wood riding a motorcycle on Instagram 11 years ago, and the rest is history! She helped me learn how to ride, and at the time we were neighbors living in Echo Park. She would pick me up on her little Yamaha Star 250 and let me ride around the empty parking lots up at Dodger Stadium.

As for vintage cars, they've always caught my eye. When I was really young, my dad would drive me to school, and I would always make a point to look for the '65 Mustang parked on a street we passed along the way. It's a small memory, but one that has always stuck with me.”

ROAD TO PARADISE

“I originally started Paradise Road Show with a business partner while we were on a motorcycle trip in another country. We’ve since gone our separate ways, but the show was born out of a love for old cars and bikes, and the idea of keeping that tradition alive by bringing together people who appreciate these things and want to keep them on the road. Since then, Paradise has grown SO MUCH. I now have shows in Nashville and Austin in addition to Palm Springs, and this year we’re taking things in a whole new direction by moving the Palm Springs show to the Palm Springs Surf Club. We’ve only held it at hotels in the past, so this is an exciting new chapter for the show and an opportunity to create an entirely different experience while staying true to its core.

Being born and raised in Southern California, I’ve always felt connected to the culture here. Moving the show to the Surf Club feels like a fun way to bring together many things that make this part of the world unique: motorcycles, classic cars, vintage surf culture, the desert, and that effortless California cool. It feels like a natural fit for Paradise and gives us a whole new way to bring the show to life.”

My closest female friends are my true inspiration.

I'm in awe of them each and every single day and they keep me going!

“I could go on and on about the challenges with events, whether it's dealing with all the moving parts, sponsorships, people etc. It's HARD. There are so many elements, so many layers, and SO many personalities. It's just...a lot. But at the end of the day,  I love creating something people can feel and experience. Creating a place where people who love all this old stuff can come together and just have a good time… and as corny as it is, create some fun memories with their friends.

My biggest win is that this show is still going strong and, most importantly, people are having fun! We are going to be having our 11th year in Palm Springs in 2027 and I've done about 20 individual Paradise Road Shows, including my other cities!”

“at the end of the day,  I love creating something people can feel and experience.”
